DVP Audition
Dance Virus Productions (DVP) is a dynamic hip hop crew, created in 2007 by Etienne Khoo and Shane Clarke. DVP is comprised of some of Melbournes most recognised hip hop dancers, as well as some incredible up-and-coming performers.
DVP is one of Melbourne’s leading crews, and they will be holding auditions next month. Their credits include, 1st - Peninsula Crew Challenge 2006, 1st - Groove Melbourne Finals 2008, 2nd - Battlegrounds (National) 2008, 5th - Battlegrounds (International) 2008, 5th - Australian Hip Hop Championships 2007.

Throughout his career he and has choreographed music videos for the likes of Aaliyah “Try Again.” which received two MTV Music Video Awards (2001), Dr. Dre in which received a Music Video Producer’s Award (1997) when he introduced the world to the “ghetto tango” in the music video “Been There, Done That”. He received the Hip-Hop Choreographer of The Year (Male) at the Hip-Hop Awards (2000). He has also contributed choreography for music videos which won nominations for Will Smith (Wild Wild West), and Backstreet Boys (Larger Than Life). Other artists that he has done choreography for include Whitney Houston, Sisqo, Limp Bizkit, Enrique Iglesias, Mary J. Blige, Jessica Simpson, Master P, Mario Winans, Boys II Men, Mya, P.Diddy, and Snoop Dogg, and more.

Phrase is shooting his new film clip (featuring Cram from Spiderbait) this Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th. The theme is based around the popular Monkey Magic story. They after some asian dancers (to fit in with the Monkey Magic theme), that may be able to take instruction from a choreographer for some martial arts moves, as well as extra roles. They need female and male dancers. If you are interested or know anyone who is interested please pass this on.
