Congratulations to all the crews that performed, and especially to the winners! All the dancers and members of the audience contributed to making Shakedown an amazing event.
The event was an overwhelming experience to be a part of since the size of Vodafone Arena, and the whole scale of the set up and organising was mind-blowing to say the least.
The winners of the Shakedown Finals for both the overage and underage were deserving of their placing, but that’s not to say that so many other crews weren’t amazing either!

Errol Cenita and Matty B from Trick Nasty Crew in Brisbane will be down in Melbourne on November 19 to teach a special hip hop workshop!

Michael Schwandt is one of the hottest creative visionaries for movement and direction in Hollywood. He is a faculty member of the EDGE Performing Arts Centre where he teaches LA’s top professional choreographers.

Michael will be taking classes in Australia from October 20 in Sydney, to October 30 in Perth. Unfortunately he won’t be taking classes in Melbourne.

In the wake of dissatisfaction with the judging system at Shakedown last year following surprising rankings, Shakedown has come up with a new judging system it thinks is best and fairest to all involved.
