The shows from the weekend’s activities have finally been uploaded!
Beatphonik, X-Cape + Hi-Voltage, Boobie Sugoi and Rewind performed at the Chinese New Year Festival, and Jigsaw Sneakers performed their first ever show at the SLF festival at Fed Square.

The Chinese New Year celebration is just around the corner, and some of Melbourne’s hip hop crews are joining in with the festivities.
Rewind, Beatphonik, and X-cape + Hi-Voltage will be performing in Melbourne on Russell St this coming Saturday between 5 and 6pm.
Also on Saturday at around the same time, Vikings and Urban Force will be performing at Fed Square after 5.30pm.
Winners of the recent hip hop battles at Freestyle Fed Square, Jigsaw Sneakers will be performing on Sunday at Fed Square’s main stage at 4pm. The Fed Square activities are part of the Sustainable Living Foundation Festival.

Get Krump’d is a hip hop showcase based competition that started last year. Contrary to what the name suggests, it is NOT a competition dedicated to Krump. The event returns again this year with two divisions! An under 18 division (must be aged max 17 at the show) compliments the open age division (must be 15 years minimum at the show)

The biggest all-ages PUSH OVER 2007 is happening at the city waterfront at Shed 4 Docklands, Melbourne on the Labour Day weekend, Saturday 10th March from midday to 10pm.
Some of Australia’s major bands and artists will be performing including, Silverchar, Something for Kate, and Bliss N Eso.
There will also be a few familiar names from the OzHipHop scene including, Wickid Force Breakers, Hollabak, X-Cape/Hi-Voltage and Vikings.
3on3 Bboy battles and MC battles are also scheduled for the day, with registrations still open for both categories.

Congrats to Simon (Mass Mayhem) for winning the power competition, Hybrid Formz (Sydney) for defeating Fresh Sox in the bboy finals, Jigsaw Sneakers on winning the Hip Hop Crew battles, and Ryusuke for taking out the hip hop solo competition.
