National Urban Connections Inc. has announced that they will not be running Peninsula Crew Challenge this year which was scheduled for June 7. That leaves the second half of the year with just one event per month.

The next event will be the Push Over at the Abbotsford Convent on March 10.  The Fresh Sox 5 Year Anniversary is March 15, and will be followed by the Victorian Bboy Championships one week later on March 22.

The second preliminary for the Australian Hip Hop Championships is on March 23 at the Games Hall, Wesley College Prahran, 1.00pm.

CKDI is calling an open audition for all lyrical, contemporary, and ballet trained dancers. For upcoming weddings.

Date: Wednesday 5th March
Time: 6.30-8.30pm sharp (please be ready to dance we will not warm you up)
Place: MMA, 53 Victoria street, Melbourne

Prerequisites:

• Please bring your diary as you will need to know your availability and fill out a form for this.
• New dancers who are not members of CKDI need to bring a CV and photo.
• You need to register that you will be at the audition.
• Please email ckdanceinnovation@hotmail.com with your name, and “yes wedding audition” in the topic box.
• Please write attention Caitlin.

The first heats for AHC was SPECTACULAR with crews dancing at an international level to a full house at MMA.

Beatphonik, Rewind and DVP have qualified for the finals at The Palms at Crown in May. Isolation qualified from the junior category.

The next heats will see crews such as Hollabak, The Project and Cypher Sapiens (Jigsaw Sneakers/Nomadic Funk) dancing for the remaining spots in the final.
