Television shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, Strictly Dancing and Dancing With The Stars continue to bring dance into the limelight and mainstream demographic markets and then international shows and production companies such as Disney World, Moulin Rouge, Universal Studios, Lido, Venetian Macau, Burn The Floor and numerous cruise liners come to Australia year after year to recruit our beautiful dancers as they are always in search of great quality, top performers, passionate people and hard working individuals with great work ethics.

One of the most successful Australian production stage shows, “Zingara” which is still currently enjoying its long running successful season at Conrad Jupiters, Gold Coast is soon coming to an end but the show must go on for the Producers, Dion & Randall Productions.  The award winning producers of “Zingara” also presented “Tempo Rouge”, “Midnight Magic” and “Hidden Palace” which all enjoyed huge box office successes.   The world renowned 5 star Sheraton Grande Walkerhill in Seoul Korea has just appointed Dion & Randall to produce yet another spectacle for their 47th Stage Production, creating significant work opportunities for many talented and creative Australians. 

1.       A full ensemble cast of professional Female Dancers are urgently needed.

2.       The minimum height requirement is 5′ 8″ without shoes.

3.       For existing costuming and wardrobe purposes all female dancers must be strictly dress size 8-10

4.       All dancers have to excel in the styles of jazz, contemporary, commercial and have great flexibility and technique.

5.       Please think of Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Cabaret and Las Vegas as the perfect references for this job.

• Rehearsal will begin in early August 2008 with the show grand opening taking place in late August 2008.
• The venue is the prestigious Hotel/Casino at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill in Seoul, Korea.
• Guarantee of 9 months contract with an option to extend to further 12 months in total if the success of the show continues abroad.
• Weekly salary - Competitive Salary

DANCE AUDITIONS

The producers will be holding the dance auditions to coincide with the arrival of the international clients from Korea here in Australia.

The audition sessions will be held in Melbourne and possibly Brisbane in between the 9th and 11th of June 2008.

The exact times, dates and venues will be confirmed on the 5th of June upon receiving all submissions and expressions of interest.

At this stage an audition in Sydney will only be considered subject to the number of applicants that are received within the next 48 hours.
