The final heats for Battlegrounds were held last night to a sold out crowd in Camberwell Civic Centre.
Many of Melbourne’s big names were in this heat, including Battlegrounds champions Kstar, Battlegrounds 2006 qualifiers Xcape, veterans Vikings, and crowd favourites Jigsaw Sneakers.
The competition was intense with the standard of dancing noticeably higher than previous years. Many crews were well deserving of qualifying for Battlegrounds but in the end, only 2 adult crews and 1 junior crew would be let through to the international stage.
